Background

Mr. Sharkey attended Cardinal Stritch University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science in 2020. While pursuing his bachelor's, Efrain was a member of Cardinal Stritch's Men's Volleyball and Track and Field Programs.

Efrain earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2026. During law school, Efrain received Academic Merit Scholarships for all three years and was named to the Dean's List during his 2L years.

Efrain sat for the July 2026 California Bar.

Efrain is a San Diego native, having grown up in Chula Vista. In his free time, he enjoys participating in local volleyball open gyms, hiking, playing board games with friends, and cooking.
